I almost titled this slide “companies that should be sued for claiming to make “health food items”…

Many "healthy" foods boast high protein and low carbs, but the hidden ingredients can WREAK havoc on your body.

Erythritol is one (of many) sugar alcohols used in Quest protein snacks. It causes major gut disruption, bloating & digestive issues, leading to hormonal imbalance. I used to have PAINFUL bloating at times. Like “cannot suck it in” type of bloating, even though I had only eaten a protein bar!! The second I removed “erythritol” and other sugar alcohols from my diet, my bloating was gone.

Sucralose: an artificial sweetener used in Celsius, Zoa, Alani, uptime…all of them. Major gut & hormone disruptor as this is essentially a chemically made sweetener 🫠 Also…anything claiming to be a “low calorie burst of energy” raises major red flags 🚩 Calories= energy….so without calories…where does this “energy” come from??

Bottom line: If I could beg you to do one thing, it would be to read ingredients BEFORE calories.
