I'll spare you some time and give you the shortened version of why I do what I do.
After high school, I hung up my "athlete" hat and exchanged it for a "regular human entering college" hat. And it did NOT fit. Mentally, I had no feeling of accomplishment and was missing a huge piece of my identity, while physically I felt sluggish, weak, and tired all the time! Not to mention the psychological effects that combination had on my self-confidence.
Knowing NOTHING about health/wellness, I began running daily, restricting my calories, and hating every second of "fitness". It wasn't until a friend of mine introduced me to a small weight room on campus that everything clicked into place and my real journey began.
Fast-forward 10 years, I now hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training, and certifications in sports nutrition, soft tissue mobility, corrective exercises, prenatal and postpartum exercise, and progressive programming. Basically, I've been SOAKING it up!!
My performance training focuses on young athletes itching to tap into their full athletic potential. These programs are designed based on an injury risk screen, and include corrective exercise, foundational strength, speed, agility, and explosive power training. Meanwhile, my "health & wellness" program exists to educate and motivate women of all ages to feel like their best, most healthy selves, by setting them up for success with workouts, nutritional advice and a personal accountability coach.
This is a very safe space, a tight knit center of supporters who have ALL been through the same things you're feeling. And to be honest, it's my favorite place to hang out.
Thanks for being here, and let me know how I can help you!
THanks for
being here <3
